#AC welcomes anybody with autism or Asperger's, or anyone who feels they are unable to socialize, or has a very difficult time socializing.
Some suggested topics are how to deal with anxiety associated with autism, how to deal with social situations, how to handle issues with jobs, school, or independent living.
Keep in mind that those are only suggested topics; you can discuss pretty much anything you want in #AC.

When did the channel start? |
#AC was started in March 2002. Hopefully it will be around for years and years to come.
#AC is located on the DeepSpace network.
It is only human to want a social life, but for people with autism spectrum disorders socializing is extremely difficult. IRC can take away some of the barriers for some people with autism or Asperger's, so it is hoped that #AC can give them the social life they are unable to get offline.
Use your IRC client to connect to the server irc.deepspace.org and join channel #AC, or use this java client.
